Sthlm, 2013: The Shape of Space 1
Another scene from yesterdays visit to the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts. The mere scale of The Shape of Space by Alyson Shotz made it possible to position the viewer inside the piece. As a photographer I really enjoyed how the ambient and artificial light was transmitted through the shapes. There was also a mix of transparency and reflections that made the experience quite intriguing. I´m pretty sure it was no coincidence that this work was positioned right beside som large windows.
