I checked in at my friend Peters studio recording today to snap some documentary styled shots of the occasion. (I was pleased to see that this studio actually had some nice lights to work with. The last time I was shooting in a studio, the only lights available was spotlights in the ceiling corners of the rooms. Yep – every shot was back-lit).
Anyway – the light where nice, the sound was good and the music was like a thick wall of 70’s progressive rock. Sweet stuff.
Ps. I´, trying out Aperture and really haven´t got the hang of it´s black and white conversion tools yet. Be patient – I´m getting there …
Really cool stuff, I’ve always been fascinated by photos of musicians. The art of the 20th century.
Me too, Nikhil. Once, I thought I would be a musician my self, but I switched to photography when I had my son. I can’t handle more than one creative hobby at the time :)
