It is high on a graphic scale. It is not so on a SP level. The powerful and graphic dynamics of the background’s lines and the light give more interest than “the Shapes”. There lies the strength of your visual. Part of that comes from the fact that she is in a shadow area. She does not really bring something more to the scene, even though she’s there.It’s too graphic for her to compete!!!

Thanks, Stéphane, and I agree about the role of the Shape. Her main purpose in this composition is to be a landing point when the viewer eyes follow the lines from left to right.
I love working with this kind of photos, even though it may not be perfectly kosher in a pure street photography sense. Urban eyecandy?

I love shots like this. They appeal to me because I like simple lines (structure) and just a little bit of intrigue by adding a somewhat anonymous yet attractive figure (subtle female curves) and bomb light.
