Sthlm, 2007: Marathon runner 2
On saturday, the Stockholm Marathon is being held. I usually tries to go down town then, even if I´m not very interested in the athletic part of it. It´s kind of like the joke about the football World Championship and the Germans: Marathon is an athletic sport where runner from all over the world competes and eventually all get beaten by some guy from Africa. Well, maybe not.
But the entire inner city usually fills up with people, and that´s what lures me in. And of course there is the showers the runners goes through during the race. I have a special spot i stake out where the sun shines through the water while the background is in shadow. It always turns out pretty interesting, and might be the only sport photo I have had framed. Not this one, though.
