London, 2011: Out of focus with parcel
Crap. Sometimes, I just can´t get the focus right in time. Kind of like the composition on this one, but I guess the out of focus is a tad to much. I feel about out of focus myself, by the way, so I´ll see ya later.
Actually, the out of focus doesn’t bother me that much. It’s a great photo, the composition is excellent.
I agree with Simon. Many of my favourite classic photographs would never pass muster to a modern audience, who are used to immaculately photoshopped, colourful, bright images, but that doesn’t stop them from being classic art.
While technical flawlessness is an important aspect of photography, it is not the be all and end all of the judgment of the quality of a photo. I like this one too.
Good to hear your thoughts, guys. In full size it have this wonderful softness that doesn´t show well in this small sized blogversion. Anyway, as you say Nikhil, the art lays not in the level of technical perfection. Not in my book, anyway.
